PSSC Signs Cooperation Agreement with ST Engineering to Advance Taiwan’s Public Transportation Infrastructure

   
 
Taipei, April 10, 2025 — Mr. Chao-Yu Hsu, Chairman of Powertech System Corporation (PSSC), recently visited the headquarters of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) to formally sign a cooperation agreement focused on the refurbishment of communication systems for the 371 Series, Type 4 Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) in Taiwan. This strategic partnership marks a significant step forward in enhancing the intelligence and safety of Taiwan’s public transportation network.
 
During the signing ceremony, Chairman Hsu and Mr. Tsan-Ting Kao, Chairman of ST Engineering Taiwan, exchanged symbolic gifts, representing the strong relationship and mutual commitment between the two companies. The collaboration not only underscores the growing ties between enterprises in Taiwan and Singapore but also highlights Taiwan’s active role in the development of smart transportation technologies.
 
Chairman Hsu stated that PSSC has long been dedicated to improving Taiwan’s transit systems and will continue to work with global partners to drive innovation in transport infrastructure. Through this collaboration, PSSC aims to lay a solid foundation for the future development of Taiwan’s public transit.
